Motor system energy efficiency improvement "Zhenjiang model" is expected to go global

China Jiangsu Network, July 10th This year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Switzerland. On July 10, the 2015 International High Efficiency Motor Symposium, jointly sponsored by the Swiss Federal Energy Efficiency Agency, the People's Government of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province, and the National Motor Energy Efficiency Improvement Office, was grandly opened in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. This seminar was first held in China and it also marked China's first motor system energy efficiency improvement project focusing on systemization and model innovation-"Zhongrui Zhenjiang Motor System Energy Efficiency Improvement Pilot Project" was widely recognized by authoritative experts in the international motor field The "Zhenjiang model" for system energy efficiency improvement is expected to go global.
尚 Shangxian Dai, Ambassador of Switzerland to China, Gao Yunhu, Director of the Department of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, Li Qiang, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Economic and Information Commission, and Jiang Jianming, Member of the Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of the Zhenjiang Municipal Committee, were invited to attend the opening ceremony of the seminar and gave speeches.
Energy saving and environmental protection have become the theme of industrial development in China and the world today. Promoting energy saving and emission reduction in industrial production is an important task for governments of various countries. According to statistics, the motor system consumes about 75% of China's industrial electricity and 64% of the entire society. The average level of energy efficiency of Chinese motors is 3-5 percentage points lower than that of developed countries. The efficiency of motor systems is 10-20 percentage points lower than the international advanced level. There is huge room for improvement in energy efficiency. With the deployment of the 13th Five-Year Plan, many new energy development models have emerged. Among them, the "Zhenjiang Zhenjiang Motor System Energy Saving Pilot Project" and the "Zhenjiang Model" as the carrier have achieved great results.
It is reported that with the strong support of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, the Swiss Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Swiss Embassy in China, the “Zhongrui Zhenjiang Motor System Energy Efficiency Improvement Pilot Project” was launched in July 2014. The project relies on Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park, a Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Eco-industrial Park, introduces the system energy-saving concept of the Swiss Top10 Energy Conservation Center of the international motor energy-saving agency, and through international cooperation, develops capacity building, energy-saving diagnosis, and motors for Zhenjiang energy-consuming enterprises. Large-scale transformation of the system, and actively exploring a verifiable, replicable, and sustainable new energy-saving practice model for motor systems.
Li Xiaoping, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhenjiang Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the New District Party Working Committee, stated in the "China Day" seminar that Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone took the lead in implementing the concept of green and low-carbon development, and actively participated in the "National Motor Energy Efficiency Improvement Plan" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and cooperated with Switzerland's TOP10. In cooperation with the Energy Conservation Center, China launched the first electric motor energy saving pilot project focusing on system optimization and model innovation. It has been unanimously welcomed and praised by pilot companies such as Solvay Chemical, Chimei Chemical, Hongtai Iron and Steel and Dadong Paper. At the National Motor Energy Efficiency Improvement Conference held in December last year, it was fully affirmed by the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Earlier this year, as the operating entity of the Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park, Jiangsu Xinzhongrui Co., Ltd. and Swiss TOP10 carried out international exchanges and cooperation, and jointly established Huarui Energy Saving Technology Co., Ltd. to build an international technology transfer center and a new platform for industrial ecological energy conservation.
"Zhenjiang was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in May this year and was successfully selected as a pilot city for industrial green transformation and development in the country. This is related to the city's industry's achievements in green development and transformation. Last year, the city's unit GDP energy consumption was 0.556 tons of standard coal per 10,000 yuan. Compared with the previous year, it is down by 7.961%, which is 2 percentage points higher than that of the whole province. It is in the forefront of the province. For example, Jiangsu Helin Cement Co., Ltd., a typical enterprise in the high energy consumption industry, consumed nearly 600 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in 2014. After the system transformation, it saved 42 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually, saved 7623 tons of standard coal, reduced electricity costs by 23.1 million yuan, and achieved good social and economic benefits. "Said Xue Feng, director of Zhenjiang Economic and Information Commission.
The relevant information provided by the Zhenjiang New District Management Committee shows that the Sino-Swiss Zhenjiang Ecological Industrial Park is a strategic sustainable development demonstration project jointly promoted by the Chinese and Swiss governments, with the goal of accelerating the construction of a scientific and technological innovation system, and focusing on building an international cooperative ecological park. The project is jointly guided by the Ministry of Commerce and the Swiss Ministry of Economic Affairs. The national Zhenjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone and the Swiss Environmental Science and Technology Agency are the executive agencies. The project aims to build a new type of international park that is ecological, environmentally friendly, low-carbon and intelligent. To create an important platform for collaborative innovation between China and Switzerland, aiming to integrate advanced concepts and technologies of Swiss and global eco-environmental protection, build an ecological industry base, a technology research and development innovation base, an international higher vocational education demonstration base, and a China-Switzerland boutique exhibition center, Switzerland "Three bases and three centers" such as watch and watch maintenance centers, health service centers, and so on, strive to become replicable and reference samples in China's new industrialization and urbanization process.
The International High Efficiency Motor Symposium is a global industry conference in the field of motors. It is held in Zurich, Switzerland every two years. The conference gathered front-line motor experts and representatives from governments, academia and industry from more than 100 countries around the world to regularly conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge policies, practice status and trends of efficient motor manufacturing, motor system energy conservation and related market mechanism exploration. The 2015 International High Efficiency Motor Symposium was co-sponsored by the Swiss Energy Efficiency Agency, the Zhenjiang Municipal People's Government, and the National Motor Energy Efficiency Improvement Office. The Zhenjiang Economic and Information Commission, the Zhenjiang New District Management Committee, and the Swiss Top10 Energy Conservation Center jointly sponsored the plan. It was held in China in 2015 and complemented the International High Efficiency Motor Symposium held in Zurich, Switzerland, and gradually formed an industry long-term communication and cooperation platform that connects Europe, the United States and Asia-Pacific major economies.
